Here is some background information on each of our team members!

Jessica Blake: Jessica lives in a Milwaukee area suburb. She is a psychotherapist; working at Pathfinders; providing individual, family and group therapy to individuals who have been traumatized by physical sexual abuse. She also works at Associated Mental Health Associates providing outpatient mental health services. She has been in the mental health field for over 10 years. Jessica enjoys outdoor hiking, running half marathons and traveling. She was married in January in Rivera Mayo, Mexico to Dave.

Sarah Castleberry: Sarah lives in Port Washington. She is a 4th grade teacher at Capital/West Academy in Milwaukee and has worked there for two years. Sarah has a Communications degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Teaching Degree from Cardinal Stritch University. She enjoys reading, working out, biking, rollerblading, doing craft projects and traveling. She has lived in New Zealand, South Africa and England and is looking forward to learning more about Sweden. She is sponsored by the Elmbrook Rotary Club.

Heather Williams: Heather lives just north of Milwaukee. She has been a Director for the YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee for 9 years and serves as Senior Membership Director at the Brown Deer-YMCA. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Heather has a personal and professional background in fitness and aquatics and applies her passion for wellness to running, open water swimming and triathlons. She is sponsored by the Milwaukee North Shore Rotary Club.

Mike Wahl: Mike lives in the Fond du Lac area. He is a senior manufacturing engineer for Mid-States Aluminum in Fond du Lac and has been with the company for 15 years.
Mike as a Diploma Degree in Machine Tool Operations, and an Associate Degree in Mechanical Design. He will graduate in Dec. 2010 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Management from UW-Stout. Mike enjoys repairing, restoring and collecting historical steam operated equipment. He is married to Amy and has daughters, Lillian age 7 and Madeline age 4. Mike is sponsored by the Fond du Lac Morning Rotary.

Team Leader: Wally Smanski: Wally lives in Brookfield and is currently secretary of the Elmbrook Rotary Club and will be president in two years. He held sales and sales management positions in computer hardware companies for over 25 years, including 16 years with Sun Microsystems. In addition to Rotary projects, Wally is currently engaged in various volunteer efforts including Special Olympics, Literary Tutoring and his church. Wally has been married to Shirley for 3 years and has 3 children and 2 grandchildren.
